Encourage Others
GASP! 2 posts in one day? Who am I? Well, I ran across this verse and I just couldn't pass up posting it:
Topsy Turvy Tuesday
Ok, the title has nothing to do with this post, but I wanted to use an alliteration and it is Tuesday. I'm a nerd. Speaking of being super nerdy:
According to klout, I am influential about these 7 topics on Twitter:
1. Indianapolis
2. Indiana
3. Games
4. Teeth
5. Marketing
6. Weddings
7. Television
Teeth? Games? Really? I promise I'm not a gamer. Some are probably pretty accurate, but the television one cracks me up because I'm that person who can't consistently watch a new TV series for more than a couple weeks (if that). Notice I put "new" because I can definitely consistently watch Seinfeld.
Speaking of Seinfeld, I had a very Seinfeld-esque moment today. A close-talker. I encountered a situation when someone was talking to someone while standing entirely too close...I'm talking inches. I chuckled to myself and thought, "Jerry would have a hay day with this one!" Yikes.
Another thing that made me chuckle today:

"Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as STRONG as death, its jealously unyielding as the grave. It burns like a blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away." [Song of Songs 8:6-7]
Here's to many more!

Meet Moose
Yes, we got a puppy. If you know the husb and I at all, you know that we had to think about this for a couple months - ha! We were looking for a dog who wouldn't get TOO big and who wouldn't shed. So, after calling all of the veterinary offices in town to determine costs to care for a puppy and weeks of internet searching, we found the perfect one... a Shih Poo (Shih tzu-Poodle mix). Meet Moose:
What a great weekend!
Napping Moose
We needed a food bowl for Moose. I think this one might be a little too big (sorry, Dan)!
:)
After Moose met the newlywed Clancys, they just HAD to go get his sister. This is Paisley.
What a great weekend!

I'm Alive & Well
I'm back and ready to start postin'. I'm back with a fresh new outlook and perspective. I'm back with actual "downtime" in my life. I'm back and I'm not working 70+ hours a week.
A little friend (or Max Lucado) once told me: "I will face this day with the JOY of a child and the courage of a GIANT." I have this little saying right next to my computer at work. It serves as another reminder to remain joyful, strong, and patient...even when things go crazy. Through this crazy ride God has really been tugging at me. Tugging at me to look towards HIM. You know what? He was right. After finally listening to Him I felt a sense of calmness around me - suddenly no need to "freak out" because God was (and still is!) there.
Oh, and one more thing...I'm very thankful for my dear ol' husb for putting up with me. He sure is a trooper. He tells me what I need to hear and when I need to hear it.
Ok, maybe one more thing. A little something to get your Tuesday going.
